 Doom bloom
Shoulder roll
I know you know
The thinking piece
 Nothing like these
Soft breaths
In bed with me

Five Horny Haikus

#23

Slow fucking til dawn

I took a half she took the

whole thing. Slow down. Baaayb–

#24

A doctor who keeps

Sad, dying men afloat with

Viagra and speed

#25

One thing you can’t know

In this life, is why you want

To sleep with weirdos.

#26

I feel a hunger

Just like Eddie Money said,

“Take me home tonight!”

#27

Boys? OK, but I’m

One nice gay experience

Away from new life

crowd work

close your eyes
for a little while
imagine yourself alone
in an old church
your smallest movements amplified
by the musty stone
imagine the cavernous structure opening
itself to you, inviting you to release
yourself in the form of a guttural cry
three, two, one
what do you hear?

Escapism

Before emoji, the key
millions gone who knew the key:
point of interest
burial mound
area of outstanding beauty
viewing point
steep gradient
travel lodge
beach
pebble beach
gravel beach
pond
lake
regal house that belongs to the National Trust, closed Sundays
birds
swans
Bank Holiday roadside fistfight
dry dock
extremely long road
dead man's curve
a wall
a stile
farm with impudent goose
dead drop
a country inn with an unsurprisingly racist secret
war memorial
knacker's yard
someone with a completely blotchy face

knees burnt the AA (Automobile Association) Roadside Atlas,
1987 edition, spread on the floor,
tracing Cornwall to Cumbria and all the places in between,
that I never did go.
